A guide to reading the tables
These results show the children's attainment in relation to the three core subjects English, Mathematics and Science for Grovelands School. Key Stage 1 covers Years 1 and 2. Key Stage 2 covers Years 3-6. Key Stage 1 results are based on Teacher Assessment backed up with evidence from children's work and some tests they take at the end of Year 2. Key Stage 2 tests are taken at the end of Year 6. These are national tests taken by all children of this age and are externally marked.

What the levels mean for 7 year olds
W = below the national standard expected for their age.
Level 2 = national standard expected for their age
Level 3 = higher than the national standard expected for their age.
