This term we are finishing our work about the Romans. The children will be finding out about the legacy which the Romans left behind in Britain (roads, food and architecture). The children will be painting their Roman shields and soon we will have an exciting Roman V Celt battle.
In Science the children will be learning about electricity including circuits, switches, conductors and insulators.
In English the children will be continuing to work on their spelling, punctuation and grammar skills as well as working on playscripts and exploring poetry.
In Maths our focus this term will be on measurement, statistics, geometry and fractions.
Lastly, the year 4 and 5 children will be performing in a Christmas performance at the end of term.
